Aka my shoe collection
I was going through my blog archives recently, and came across this post on what shoes I wanted for fall back in 2014. I’m happy to say that my shoe collection has expanded since then.
At this point in my life, I have probably the biggest shoe collection I’ve ever had. Some pairs were Christmas presents, others were hand-me downs, and the rest I got for myself.
I like that I now have shoes for a variety of occasions. For instance, I rarely wear heels and it’s not always the right weather for tall boots, but it’s nice to have options.
Shoe Collection:
1 pair of short brown Report Signature suede boots (similar)
1 pair of tall black faux leather boots
1 pair tall grey suede boots
1 pair black faux leather slip on Vans
1 pair black faux leather flats (similar)
1 pair blue suede flats (similar)
1 pair nude sandals (similar, same brand)
1 pair white strappy sandals (similar)
1 pair blue flip flops
It seems like I’m able to keep shoes longer than I used to. I’ve been the same shoe size since about 6th grade, so I haven’t had to get new shoes because of growing feet in a long time. I just used to wear out shoes faster.
Or, I would buy shoes that I thought I would like and up getting rid of them within a year. An unflattering pair of skater shoes and an uncomfortable pair of flats come to mind. With time, experience and changes in circumstances, I now have more of an idea of what I do and don’t like to wear.
Most worn: Short brown suede boots, faux leather slip on Vans, nude sandals, flip flops
Least worn: Black faux leather flats, Black faux leather boots, grey high top Vans
