A few weeks ago I attempted my first outfit post. Well, I took pictures for it but I haven’t had the guts to post them until now. These pictures are terrible! I look terribly awkward and the pictures aren’t as vibrant as I would like.

After taking these I wasn’t even sure if I should do fashion posts. I want my blog to be somewhat serious with topics ranging from feminism to travel to pop culture and life after college. I’m still figuring it all out. I do love fashion though! For work I’ve been writing a series on fall fashion with three installments completed. I might as well start at the very beginning with fashion posts (photography in general, really) and aim to get better with time.
I asked my mom to take these pictures after getting home from the first day of my internship. I was going for business casual. After that first day though, I’ve been taking a cue from the rest of the office and dressing even more casual.
How do the people in your office dress? If it is super casual, as in jeans and t-shirts, how do you keep up a polished look?
